The Board of Directors are all resident volunteers committed to preserving the unique Arrowhead charm and fostering a genuine spirit of caring, cooperation and community. The Board tries to maintain a balance of both men and women as well as lakefront and non-lakefront property owners. As the terms of the various board positions rotate regularly, we are always looking for residents to express interest in joining the team. Business and/or community service experience are helpful. Arrowhead Point Homeowners Association Board Members

President: Joe Voves

Primary responsibility is to oversee the APHA Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and community operations. Additionally, the President leads quarterly Board meetings as well as the annual meeting of the membership in late June. President oversees real estate transactions and provides resale documents to attorneys required for closing. President also acts as primary communications conduit to the community. President manages the relationship with our Water System provider and adheres to CT DEEP regulations regarding testing and notification. President is responsible for safeguarding that insurance requirements are met; tax documents are filed, and any unexpected neighborhood issues are resolved.

Primary Responsibilities include communicating with current and prospective slip holders, coordinating docks installation in the spring, removal in the fall, notifying slip holders and jet ski owners of key dates for completing and returning signed licensing agreements and insurance information along with their annual slip deposit in spring and sending boat removal email in the fall. Also responsible for assuring proper maintenance of the lockers and the boat and swim docks, including annual UV coating for boat dock and overseeing physical maintenance/repairs when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities include supporting the rest of the Board as needed and leading and managing special projects as they arise. This Vice President oversees the social and new-resident welcome committees.

Treasurer: Scott Hartman

Primary Responsibilities include coordinating with outside bookkeeper to ensure the associations vendor invoices are accurate and paid promptly. Our treasurer also collaborates with our accountant for the preparation of tax returns and financial reports in a timely manner. Additionally, the treasurer prepares a prophesied budget for our annual meeting of the membership in June and reports on the association’s financial performance over the previous fiscal year. Among many other things, the treasurer reviews expenses, contracts and proposals from vendors and contractors throughout the year.

Secretary: Lisa Cerbone-Montalto

Primary Responsibilities include maintaining a membership database and contact information, and providing agenda, notes, and minutes for all official Board meetings. The Secretary coordinates with the President to co-sign and distribute stock certificates for new residents.
